Reef off the New Jersey coast
The 2,101-acre middle parcel of the Five Fathom Bank chain, 9.3 nautical miles southeast of Hereford Inlet. The largest single piece of the bank complex gives the most water to prospect — follow the shoal's edge contours for fluke and sea bass, and watch the crown for surface action.
The bottom characteristics are sandy material.
