Reef off the New Jersey coast
A 594-acre Five Fathom Bank parcel just southwest of the main shoal, 7.8 nautical miles east-southeast of Hereford Inlet. The bank's shallow lift continues through it, and so does the everything-fishery: flatfish and bottom fish below, the full run of summer pelagics above.
The bottom characteristics are sandy material.
