The northern of the two grounds carrying the 2 Buoy name, sitting about 4.7 nautical miles east of Barnegat Inlet — its namesake sibling lies well to the southwest off Townsends Inlet. Trollers pull past this waypoint for bluefish and bonito in the warm months, and false albacore blitz through on bait schools in early fall.
