A compact 37-acre slough on the western edge of the Hereford Inlet depth zone, running along the 120-foot contour to depths of 130 feet. Sea bass hold on the structure edges while weakfish cruise the channels between slough sections. This ground sits slightly inshore compared to deeper offshore areas, making it accessible to smaller offshore boats departing from Stone Harbor or Wildwood. The compact area concentrates fish, making drift fishing efficient across the entire structure. Slow drifts with squid-baited dropper loops produce consistent results throughout the season.
