The southernmost of four sloughs running north to south, 4 nautical miles northeast of a Y-buoy reference in the southern New Jersey offshore zone. This slough series — four distinct underwater valleys stacked from south to north — creates an extended fishing complex. Fluke and weakfish work these sloughs in summer following the depth contours; sea bass take over in fall. The southern position makes it the first ground fished when approaching from Cape May. At roughly 136 acres, this is a substantial feature with room for multiple drift lines. Work the slough edges with Gulp baits or live minnows for fluke; add a teaser rig above your bucktail for bonus weakfish action.

The surrounding area is characterized by sandy and shelly material as a bottom type.
