Lump off the New Jersey coast
The western Shutes Shoal parcel, 123 acres of raised sand 7.9 nautical miles southeast of Townsends Inlet. A dedicated fluke shoal — the flatfish stage on its slopes through summer, and the drift across the top is the whole game.
The bottom characteristics are sandy material.
