Wreck Site off the New Jersey coast
The larger and southwestern of the two Ammo wreck grounds, under 3 nautical miles east of Shark River. Bottom structure here holds fluke through the summer drift season, and bluefish push bait across the broken ground on tide changes. Its smaller companion of the same name lies just to the northeast.
The surrounding area has a small lumps in the East part of it and composed by sandy material.
