Wreck Site off the New Jersey coast
The Paul Thummel Mako Hole's northeastern parcel, over 5,600 acres roughly 37 nautical miles southeast of Little Egg Inlet. The name records its shark-fishing pedigree; today it is logged tuna water, with the depression's edges bending current along the inner offshore grounds.
The surrounding area is characterized with sandy and shelly material as a bottom type with lumps already known and described.
