The Tongue is a narrow peninsula of hard bottom extending into deeper water in NJ offshore territory. The structure creates current breaks that attract baitfish and the predators that follow. Sea bass and tautog hold on the hard bottom while bluefish and bonito work the edges. Accessible from the NJ coast.
