Buoy Area off the New Jersey coast
NA Buoy floats about 37 nautical miles east of Sandy Hook, one of the most distant marks logged off the north coast. It is a waypoint fishery: bluefish and bonito around the buoy, false albacore in the fall, and tuna crossing when the offshore temperature breaks reach in.
