Hudson Seamount is a significant offshore bottom feature in NJ waters, rising from the continental shelf floor and creating a productive upwelling zone. The seamount concentrates baitfish and draws tuna, bluefish, bonito, and false albacore in summer. Sea bass and tautog work the base structure. A major destination for offshore boats from NJ ports.
