Buoy Area off the New Jersey coast
The East Rockaway Inlet sea-buoy ground, about 12.4 nautical miles east-northeast of Sandy Hook on the Long Island side of the Bight. Bluefish own the water column around the mark most of the summer; bonito and false albacore cut through when bait concentrates on the tide.
