Wreck Site off the New Jersey coast
The northeastern Clear Mar parcel, 23 acres about 4.3 nautical miles east-southeast of the Townsends jetties. The outermost of the three same-named wreck patches carries the same program: anchor over the mark, drop for sea bass, and switch to crab baits when tautog season opens.
The surrounding area is characterized with sandy material as a bottom type.
