What is actually in frame
The promenade beachfront. Poverty Beach sits at the east end and Sunset Beach faces the bay on the other side of the peninsula β neither is in this frame.

The 3 beaches in Cape May
- Cape May City Beach β The main beach stretching along the promenade with views of Victorian architecture. Wide sandy beach with gentle waves.
- Poverty Beach β Quieter beach at the east end of town near the inlet. Less crowded with a more natural feel.
- Sunset Beach β Famous for spectacular sunsets and Cape May diamonds. Home to the nightly flag ceremony and SS Atlantus concrete ship wreck.
