Beach and inlet surf conditions
via Surfline
Belmarβs feed is a surf report rather than a boardwalk view β it is aimed at the water, which makes it the better cam if you are checking whether it is worth carrying a board down. Belmar splits into a North End and a South End beach, and the inlet at the north end is what shapes the sandbars.
What is actually in frame
Wave shape and how the swell is breaking along the inlet side. Belmar is one of the few Jersey Shore towns whose cam is run by a surf forecaster rather than a tourism office.
