Navy Barge is a decommissioned military barge sunk as an artificial reef off Sandy Hook, NJ. The steel hull creates productive hard-bottom habitat for sea bass, tautog, and porgy on an otherwise sandy seafloor. Striped bass and bluefish work the structure during spring and fall migration. A short run from Sandy Hook Bay or Highlands area marinas.
