Reef off the New Jersey coast
The Delaware Bay Reef site sits inside the bay proper, 11.7 nautical miles west of Cape May Inlet, covering 725 acres of deployed structure on otherwise soft bay bottom. The reef units carry the fishery — sea bass and tautog on the pieces, bluefish and bonito sweeping the bay water above.
