Hole off the New Jersey coast
The westernmost record of the 120 Foot Hole complex, roughly 20.6 nautical miles southeast of Absecon Inlet, named plainly for its depth. Four grounds share the name here; this 229-acre parcel anchors the inshore end. Tautog and sea bass hold the rim of the drop, with stripers passing over during migrations.
