Wreck Site off the New Jersey coast
Reliance is a locally named vessel wreck off Barnegat Inlet in NJ offshore waters. Named for a commercial vessel that sank or was sunk in the area, this site marks productive bottom structure for sea bass, tautog, and fluke. The ground is included in the productive central NJ offshore zone targeted by charter boats from Barnegat Inlet and Barnegat Light on standard afternoon and full-day trips.
