Plan Battery Loop for your dates
Build the day around confirmed access, then compare the full cost of an overnight stay if you want more time nearby.
- Use the land manager’s current map and advisories to check the open trailhead, permitted activities and any closures before setting out.
- Choose a route and turnaround time for your group. A mapped segment distance is not necessarily a complete loop or your total out-and-back mileage.
- Check daylight, weather, surface conditions and restroom access; confirm grade, width and obstacles with the manager when accessibility matters.
