About This Ground

Area with a wreck placed in the W edge of the Mud Hole. 11 nautical miles NE (85 degrees T) of Shark River Inlet. Between 120 and 180 feet depth line. Drift over the structure with live bait for best results.

The surrounding area is a part of the Mud Hole. This enormous area has a canyon shape where the deepest part is 223 ft. The area is characterized by sandy and shelly material as a bottom type.
