An area just above the "Fingers" spot in Barnegat region. Follows , as "The Fingers", the 20 fathom depth line going till 24 fathom deep. 7 nautical miles SE from Y"S" buoy which separates Ambrose and Barnegat traffic. Summer flounder stack up in sloughs during hot weather.
The surrounding area is composed by plain area in E and W and lumps in the N and S with sandy and shelly material as a bottom type.
