Fireworks in Longport

Fireworks Tips for Longport

• •The best viewing is usually a few blocks up-beach from the launch barge — directly opposite gets the crowds and the craned necks.
• •Leaving 10 minutes before the finale beats sitting in 45 minutes of traffic; leaving 30 minutes after it beats both.
• •Beach fireworks postpone for wind more often than rain — a clear, gusty night is the one to double-check before driving in.
• •Parking in Longport: Free but limited street parking. Arrive early on summer weekends.
