4 nautical miles long area starting N of the Shark River Inlet runs N of the Inlet from the beach to the 60 feet depth line. Southern part has 2 obstructions. Bucktails tipped with Gulp or strip baits are deadly for fluke.

The surrounding area is characterized by sandy and pebble material as a bottom type.
