About This Ground

The lump recives this name because it is an extension of the Sea Girt Reef. Placed in the offshore southern edge of it. Follows the 60 feet depth line and goes till 51 feet deep. Diamond jigs and bucktails work well on the structure.

The surrounding area is formed by the Reef in the inshore part and plain in the offshore part of it. The surrounding area is characterized with sandy material as a bottom type but some local area with shelly and gravel material.
