The published 2026 programme
The tourism authority’s event listing gives September 25–27 for the main street festival. Its detailed September 17 release also describes September 24 opening activities. We checked both on October 3, 2026; the distinction explains why some descriptions call the weekend three days and others four.
September 25–27: street festival
The event listing dates the main festival Friday through Sunday on Olde New Jersey Avenue. The detailed release lists vendors over those three days and music and dance on Friday and Saturday.
September 27: parade
The release lists the Sunday parade starting at 12:30 p.m. at 13th Street and JFK Boulevard, continuing through North Wildwood to Spruce and Olde New Jersey Avenues.
Plan the next outing around confirmed dates
Use the dated fall and holiday calendar for something you can still attend. For a future Irish festival, check for a newly published edition before choosing travel dates. Confirm parking restrictions, pet rules, accessibility and transport for the particular outing.

When was the Irish Fall Festival in 2026?
The main street festival ran September 25–27, 2026: three vendor days. The tourism authority also published an opening programme on Thursday, September 24, making the wider programme September 24–27. Those are historical dates, not confirmed dates for a later edition.
Was the Irish Fall Festival free?
The tourism authority lists the main street festival as free admission. Food, purchases, transport and separate participation activities had their own charges; free admission did not mean the entire outing was free.
Was the festival shuttle free?
The tourism authority’s 2026 release specified a $3 fare per person each way on the Wildwoods Island Shuttle during the festival weekend. Check the operator for any future edition’s route, timetable and fare.
How should I plan a future festival visit?
Wait for published dates from the organizer or tourism authority, then confirm the programme, parking rules, transport and any pet/access policies for your visit. Compare complete hotel or rental quotes and their reservation terms for those dates.
