⭐ Specialty Events Tips for Atlantic City
- •One-off and quirky events (polar plunges, kite festivals, mermaid parades) draw bigger crowds than their niche suggests — treat parking like a summer Saturday even off-season.
- •Registration-based events like plunges and fun runs usually offer cheaper pre-registration online than day-of signup.
- •Check whether the event has an official after-party or vendor village — at specialty events that's often where the real local flavor is.
- •Parking in Atlantic City: Metered street parking. Casino parking varies ($5-30). Some casinos validate. Free municipal parking at the State Marina lot (Huron & Baltic).
