About Hereford Inlet Lighthouse
A Victorian 'stick style' lighthouse built in 1874 and one of the few surviving wooden lighthouses on the East Coast. The grounds include English cottage gardens with over 200 flower varieties — the gardens are well maintained and worth a slow walk even if you skip the tower. Tours cover the keeper's quarters with period furnishings.
