About Taste Atlantic City

Taste Atlantic City is the region's premier culinary celebration, transforming the traditional "restaurant week" concept into a full month of dining experiences. Now in its 17th year, the event showcases the diverse culinary landscape of Atlantic City and surrounding Atlantic County.

From legendary seafood houses like Dock's Oyster House to celebrity chef restaurants in the casinos, participating establishments offer special prix-fixe menus that make fine dining accessible. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner, family outing, or foodie adventure, Taste Atlantic City has options at every price point.

The Story Behind Taste Atlantic City

Atlantic City's dining scene predates the casinos by nearly a century. Restaurants like Dock's Oyster House (1897) and Knife & Fork Inn (1912) fed the wealthy visitors who arrived by railroad during Atlantic City's first golden age. When gambling arrived in 1978, celebrity chefs and upscale dining followed.

What began as "Atlantic City Restaurant Week" evolved into a month-long celebration as demand grew. The expansion allows more restaurants to participate and gives visitors multiple opportunities to experience the city's diverse culinary offeringsβ€”from old-school Italian joints to modern Asian fusion.

Today, Taste Atlantic City bridges AC's rich culinary history with its modern casino dining scene. You can experience a Prohibition-era speakeasy one night and a celebrity chef's latest concept the nextβ€”all at accessible prix-fixe prices.
