Transient Docking
- • Call ahead for availability, especially in summer
- • Have your boat registration and insurance ready
- • Ask about amenities included in docking fee
- • VHF Channel 16 is the standard hailing channel
- • Know your boat's length and draft
Boat Launches
- • Arrive early on summer weekends
- • Have your boat ready before backing down the ramp
- • Bring cash for launch fees (some don't take cards)
- • Check tide charts - some ramps are unusable at low tide
- • NJ boat registration required for all motorized vessels
