About Tuckerton Seaport & Baymen's Museum

A recreated maritime village celebrating the heritage of the Jersey Shore baymen - the hunters, fishermen, and boat builders who shaped coastal culture. The 40-acre site features 17 historic buildings, working decoy carvers, boat building demonstrations, and the Tucker's Island Lighthouse replica. The village preserves the traditions of those who made their living from Barnegat Bay.
